My Videos - freezes on burn

I tried to burn a tv show to a Sony DRU-700A and it got stuck on step 1 of 3 all night. I ran Sony's DVDChecker utility and all is well. Is there a configuration setting I missed? I have the DVD read and write directories, dvdauthor and dvddecrypter paths set up correctly. Thanks for helping out a newbie.

Do you edit the mpeg before you run it through the my video dvd? I can only use the DVD Burn function under my videos when I do not edit the mpeg. The moment I edit it (using something like VideoREDO), i can't burn it and have to use a different program.

The files have been recorded, but no editing of any kind. Any other ideas? Do I need to choose a particular encoder/decoder for my PVR350 or something?

I have no clue about this but did you check variable versus fixed bitrate?
