Hauppauge WinTV PCI Tuner

Can anyone explain why I can't use this card with GBPVR? This card works with most other PVR software and is a widely used card.:eek:

GBPVR can only be used with cards that support hardware mpeg encoding. The card you suggest uses software encoding.

You may like to try a plugin that supports software encoders and it should work as the plugin has been tested with that particular hauppauge card.

Thank you oh wise one! I tried it and it now works. I have to use Overlay even tho my board supports VMR9. When I go to live tv view, it opens a separate window. Is this correct behavior?
