if i install .net 2.0 on my machine (which already has .net 2.0) does any one know if .net 1.1 apps will still work fine? no strange bugs... anyone tested gbpvr with .net 2.0 and .net 1.1 (im pretty sure you still net 1.1 to run most 1.1. apps).

its just m$ is famous for their "backwards compatibility, whats that????" stand (xbox 360 being an example).

i want to try out the new mediaportal but dont want to screw up my pvr in the process...

so anyone has anyone tried it?

I have had 1.1 and 2.0 on my machine for about a month now with no bugs I can attribute to the two of them living together.

(I've probably put the kiss of death on it right there)

My MVP seems to be fine and since I have installed new releases of GBPVR and MyMusic with no (attributable) problems.

Cheers

Alan

PS Any idea if GBPVR is to be recompiled for .Net 2005.
