I am 99% sure that the PVR150 does not capture the CC stream at all.

I got cc to work with my 150 mce card but not with gbpvr. I got it to work with graphedit. I just added the CC Decoder (Capture VBI to CC Decoder VBI then CC Decoder CC to VMR Input 1) It's confusing I know so I uploaded the printout as a pdf.

I know this isn't the wishlist thread, but I'd like to see CC support for the 150 within GBPvr.

Sorry, but the PVR150 does not have the ability to capture the CC information to its MPEG recordings.

I am looking for some help to figure out what I am doing wrong. I have tried following the instructions that wmspringer spelled out in his How-To Guide to enable CC on my PVR250. I have changed the settings in the GBPVR config to match those listed, and I made the registry edits listed. I can get CC using Quick Rec when viewing from within GBPVR while it is still recording, but the CC are not written into the mpg. When I play the file back, there are no CC. If I set up a recording through the scheduler, I do not get any CC in GBPVR or written to the mpg.

I have also looked at this website: http://www.cask-of-amontillado.com/pvr_r...Captioning and made the edits suggest for the later driver versions. Still nothing. Is there actually a way to have the CC hardcoded into the mpg? I had a PVR150 and bought a PVR250 specifically to do this. Hopefully I didn't waste my money! Smile

I'm not in a country that has CC information, so its not something I can help you with. You'll have to read the posts of other users that have been doing this. Its not a GB-PVR feature, but rather something the PVr250 drivers do.

I have a PVR-350. All I had to do was use the Hauppauge Tweak Tool with Intervideo WinDVD with VMR9 and checked on show CC on the misc tab of GBPVR.

The Hauppauge Tweak Tool is at http://www.cask-of-amontillado.com/htpc.html and you have to click on the 250/350 tab then click on CC then save. I have Intervideo WinDVD 5.

Thanks for the reply. I think I might be missing the Intervideo software. When I select Intervideo in the Config file, it say Intervideo NonCSS Video/Audio decoder. Is that what yours says? Did the software come with your card or did you have to get Intervideo WinDVD 5 somewhere else?

I already had it. I think WinDVD 7 is the latest. I don't know if it supports CC in the same way. Too bad Nvidia doesn't.
