GBPVR locks up on play sometimes

latest gbpvr installation, works great 80% of the time however sometimes when I select "watch" in live tv It just sits there complete crash. I have to reboot to regain control. I cant see why it shouldnt be decoder related due to it does play most of the time, with great qualty also.
I did do the quartz.dll swap, cant remember if it did this before or not

any ideas?

If you have to reboot, thats usually indication that something has gone wrong in the ring-0 stuff... the capture device's drivers.

i have a pvr-250, drivers are up to date
dont know where to start
remove and re install drivers?
