I just used graphedit and it seems to be using the cyberlink mux (if the bda.grf) is the one that is used for recording.
How come I have no Microsoft DVR-MS mux, or where do I find it? I am using Windows XP SP2. Do I need to install something in order to get it or register it manually?

If you open the bda.grf with graphedit and you are using the Cyberlink Mpeg Muxer (--> properties). I.e. Cyberlink MPEG Muxer properties values:
Video bitrates: 0 Audio bitrates: 0 Video Maximum bitrates: 0 Why are all these 0, or does it mather? I attached the graphs that is being used, if that is of any help. One question regarding the lastdvdgraph: Is it possible to get enable spdif output for intervideo audio decoder, during playback of DVD  ? I realised I had no way of getting the Dolby Digital 5.1 to my amplifier, and that might be the reason. Cause in the graph 2 speaker mode, stereo is selected, I'd rather use enable spdif output and let the amplifier do the job. (this maybe belongs to another topic, but!)

Are Microsoft DVR-MS <--> mpeg-2 video stream analyzer the same thing? You refered to c:\windows\system32\mpg2splt.ax earlier in the mux topic.
When I used the Microsoft DVR-MS method the graph told me it went to a streambuffer sink. Is that okay? Other options lead it directly to a file writer. If so, I tried the Microsoft DVR-MS as well, according to the bda.grf, but still the same result. I do not think this is a mux problem any longer. Three different mux cant be wrong or can they. For me it seems as the input or output must go wrong. I read in an elder topic that someone else have had problems with zero bytes files earlier and one of them said that it worked for him in an earlier release. Reffering to: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...ght=walker Is it possible for me to test out some elder versions or newer versions of GB-PVR. I only have one version to test and switching muxes does not solve my problem.  Just in case you want to take a look at my graphs, they are now in xml-format. Tested with the 3 options mentioned: Cyberlink, Intervideo and Microsoft. I do thank you a lot for sending me all these replies. I need a short break from this since Im gettting clueless. Or maybe I just have some stupid setting that is breaking everything for me! I feel so stupid when I could not get this to work yet. I usually do get things to work!  One day GB-PVR, will kick ass for me aswell! P.S. If you want to take a look at the graphs, do it in a text editor and try to figure out how they are related. That way they are compatible!

It seems that GB-PVR 0.9516 does something strange, or GB-PVR is not compatible with my set of software and hardware. Or that I somehow have managed to configure it wrong in some way. I'm curiosly waiting for a newer release to be tested instead of my current.
I tried the mediaportal 0.2pre2, just to see if it is really the muxers and codecs that does not work. The mediaportal was able to both timeshift and record my programs just fine all the time. No problem what so ever. So now I really wonder where the problem is. Besides as far as I know the mediaportal used the Microsoft DVR-MS format when creating the files. I even managed to compress the DVR-MS files to mpg with mediaportal also. So at least some of my codecs/muxers should work. I would like to stick with GB-PVR tough since I dislike the usability of Mediaportal. One more thing, when using the MS-DVR thing I always get a small file about 4k (I guess its just headers) and it does just not add any real content to it. Is there a simple way to create a small program that tunes a channel on a BDA device and then muxes the channel transport stream by using one of the muxes? By the way, why isnt all available codecs and muxers listed? or is each codec that different from the others?
