Error: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it

When I go into Search Guide and find my show, I double click and press "Record". When I do that I immediately get error "Error: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it".

When I head over to "Recordings" then "Pending" the show is displayed.

Any hints?

Is the recording service running?

Yup, that was it. The error didn't give a hint. But know I know.

Should the tray icon display the status of the Recording Service...to display if its on or off.
