Hi,
I've been working on my USB-UIRT setup and have been having all kinds of problems.
I thought I'd start a new thread since the other thread really didn't start out as a USB-UIRT issue. I'm hoping others who have experience with USB-UIRT will see it more easily since its a new topic.
Here's the older thread starting at page 4 when I first got into the USB-UIRT.
http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=5189&page=4
I did talk to Jon at USBUIRT.com and he gave me an older driver to try, which didn't affect things. I also used his tester program which seemed to test out fine when I held the remote within 3-4" of the IR sensor.
Basically, I have it working except that 1) as soon as I reboot my computer OR 2) go into GB-PVR config to make a change, I have the 99% CPU problem again and it doesn't work anymore.
To get it to work again, I have to uninstall the USB-UIRT device in device manager and reboot the computer when it prompts me. As the computer comes up, it sees that the USB-UIRT is attached asks to install the software. I install the software and everything works great until I either reboot or go into config again. I already have the usb-uirt-remote.ini file in there all set from previous attempts so I don't need to relearn any buttons.
My .ini file only contains 2 sets of numbers for each button now. Before, when I would miss a button or possibly doublepush one, I would relearn the button and that would start giving me more sets of numbers which doesn't seem correct. Attached is my new .ini file.
What could possibly cause this?
Thanks for looking.
