I'm putting the final touches on my HTPC. My Fusion 5 Gold Plus (PCI)
arrives tomorrow. In the meantime, I've been playing around with the
sample HDTV (.tp) files that I downloaded from DViCO's website.
I can play them in PowerDVD, and in my trial version of BeyondTV. But I
GBPVR does not list them as available to play, even though they're in the
same directory as my other video files. I changed the names to .mpg and
tried to play them without success.
I chose the Fusion 5 because I've read that GBPVR will work with it.
Here's my question: What does GBPVR do with the signal? Does it record to
that .tp format or does it transcode it to something else?
If it records .tp files, how can I get it to play the ones I've downloaded?
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for the forums and for the software itself. I'll be honest -
BeyondTV plays these files perfectly. But I really like GBPVR better -
especially because of the price.
