Hi,

When I set the path and "Apply offset when importing listings" to -1:00, it doesn't appear to do aything.

My XMLTV data is out by 1 hr and I need to off set it.

Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug?

Regards,

Paul

Sub,

Can you confirm that the time offset fuction works for you when using XML guide data?

I got around the issue by writing a VBscript that does a find on the offset +0000 and replaces with -0100 in the XML data.

Would be nice to have the feature working in GB-PVR.

I've checked and I dont think it is working. I'm guessing its been this way for over a year, so you're probably the only person that is trying to use this feature.

lol..

If you get around to fixing it, maybe you can consider putting in an offset based on Daylight savings time of years? that is what I really need.. :-P

EG I live in QLD which does not have Daylight savings, were the rest of the country does, hence why the guide data is behind by 1Hr for me. So I need to be able to turn on and off the offset based on if it is Daylight saving time of year or not..

Clear as mud and probably a real bi*ch to implement I bet..

Oh well I'll just keep using my script, and rem it out when Daylight savings end.. Must remember to put the dates in my calander. :-P

To be honest I'd rather not get into trying to calculate anything relative to daylight savings myself, as it can quickly turn into a big mess. I'd rather rely on the operating system to manage that side of things. If thats not workable where you are, you might need to stick to manually fixing your XMLTV files - sorry.

Actually, there's an easy tool for this. Simply download it from here:
http://www.prize.nl/software/pvr/xmltv.html#CleanXMLTV
A little play with the tool available there should fix any problems with xmltv offsets...
