Setting up Channel line up

I have tried setting my channel lineup with zap2it, I have tried removing the channels in config using the remove button (which seems to only want to move them), I have tried unclicking the unwanted channels while editing my source, I have tried unclicking the unwanted channels on the main channel tab and selecting remove unreferenced channels. I have tried clearing EPG and Updating it again.

Somebody please tell me if I'm doing something wrong. I don't use an internal tuner, only external and would like to fix my channel lineup. I apparently had done it succesfully at one time, because I don't have all the garbage unused channels (DirecTv) but I still have some I don't want, and would like to add another.

I am willing to edit registry entries and ini files if I need to.

You can get rid of Your "capture source channels" just by deleting your capture source and setting it up again.

I noticed today that channels in your channels list will not go away if you still have recorded shows in your database which ran on those channels...

In the database the table of recorded shows is linked to the table of channels...

I guess You could archive your recordings (e.g. with xvideos) so that your recordings-table is empty. then go to the config and remove the unwanted channels by clicking on "remove unreferenced channels"
