Having a problem with running Live TV mode. Did fresh install on a reasonable fast PC with a Hauppauge PVR150. Started GBPVR and went to LiveTV - picture is in black in white and lots of interference. Started switching channels and it will eventually clear up then go back after keep switching. No problems with WinTV2000.

Any ideas?

Run the tuning assistant that came with gbpvr. Note the frequency for each channel, and enter that instead of the channel number in the config app and see if that works better. Try one channel first before trying them all Wink

No go, still has problems in assistant. Same channels in WinTV2000 appear fine.

I suspect you'd have the same problem with any directshow application. WinTV2000 isnt a good comparision since it doesnt use the standard directshow tuning mechanism.

Which country are you in?

The most common problems would be either you are located in a country that uses non-standard frequencies (e.g. Netherlands and eastern Europe), or you've been running some other TV software that has modified the directshow frequency override registry settings.

Search around for a DirectX or DirectShow tuning frequency fix. I've posted it before somewhere here...
It involves deleting a registry key or two, very simple. I had this problem when trying out other PVRs...
