I had this working once. I've switched to DSL and had problems with modem because it has NAT as does my router. But i think i have that sorted out...

I have port 7647 open in router. And all ports open for the LAN(or whatever the router is getting) on the modem... I use an internet app that says if ports are open and it says that port is open.

EDITED OUT LINK!! Working Now....

Yes, it works. I can get to your login page using the URL you posted above.

You might want to edit your post to remove your real IP address.

If you need any help getting Dynamic DNS up and running or your router ports forwarded, etc, I'd be glad to help. It's really cool to be able to access your PVR from anywhere in the Internet! Just PM me.

Hey lonegeek,
I have DSL too, and the same issue as you - my modem assigns an ip address to my router, which then controls the rest of my network. What ports did you open on the modem and on the router?
I would love to have this ability as well.
Thanks!

Assuming you have a ZyXel Modem...
Enter in the modems IP in your web browser, by default i think its 192.168.2.1
Advanced Setup>NAT>SUA Only-Edit Details>In the all ports range put the IP the router is pulling from the modem, for me it was 192.168.2.1

Now if you open a port in your router... The modem wont block it still...
