can't get the TV or guide to work.

it keeps giving me the message:

No channels have been set up. Please run the Configuration utility and setup the EPG source. Use the "Update EPG" button to force the system to import the latest set of channel and programme information.

but i've set up the channel stuff already and updated the EPG. i have like 30 channels listed for my antenna. there's an "enabled" checkbox which i can check, but it's never checked when i return to that page. please help! i also didn't see any log files in the program files directory, so i don't even know where to start poking around.

I'm assuming you're using a ATSC digital capture card? If so, you need to manually setup each of the channels: http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Confi...HDTVSource

If you're using a DVB digital card, then you need to click on the 'map digital channels to epg channels' button.

you know, without fail, whenever i post a question, i make progress on it. i've been messin' w/ that config stuff for a week now. i *just* realized that if i enter "tuning request" info, then the checkbox stays checked. i was about to ask what the format for "tuning request" stuff is, but your link appears to answer that. thank you for the fast response.
