No, if I press the escapekey on keyboard or the back button on the mce remote it works fine. It only happens when hitting stop or ctrl-S

Is it normal for when I press pause for the scrren to go blank and say 'Entering timeshift mode. Please wait' then it returns to the tv channel I was watchign with the progress bar at the top, but it is not paused yet, I have to hit pause again for it to actually pause? OR hsould it pause automatically when I hit pause?

Yes, this is normal.

I prefer it this way, but some people have asked for it to automatically pause once it is in timeshift, so I've provided an option for that in the next release.

Could that be causing the issue as after I hit pause the first time and then hit stop it works fine? Is there a way to autostart timeshift mode? When is the next release coming out? I am willing to help beta test if you wish...

No. It something to do with stop happening twice, but I dont know why exactly.

Yes, just disable 'live preview mode' in the config app. This will mean much slower channel changing though.

Sometime in the next few weeks.

Thanks for the offer, but I already have enough beta testers.

Incase anyone needs to know what the solution is here it is. The problem was using the Hauppauge with MCE remote hit. I was using the remote control type of MCE in config but it was causing the stop key to be pressed twice. So what I did was configure HIP for all the keys and then choose the default remote control in config. Now all the remote control keys are mapped properly and everythign works fine. If anyone want the hip config file just let me know and I'll post it.
