I'll need info from other users with this problem also, so if it applies to you, please post.

File attached. I made sure that both tuners were used - see time 11.53 - young and restless and neighbours. The new MCE tuner has "with radio" on it.

The last year's 150 (non mce) is the worst offender. Most often only this one is at fault.

Thanks, DrDDT, for your workaround. I tried to get wintv2k going but I always get the initialisation htv=0 error.

However, for those who want another similar program, I found this here http://www.shspvr.com/smf/index.php?topic=9629.0

It is a command line recorder produced by our sub! I created two batch files, one for each 150, and dropped the shortcuts into the startup folder. You can select a card with the parameter "-instance:1" for example. I also changed the channel to 1 (for NZ ch). Copy the .ax file into the system32 folder, too, then run the run-this-once... batch file to register it.

I am pleased to report that this works for me. Workarounds are second best but it solves my problem so that's cool.

Wow, the mvp problem solved and a workaround for the no audio on reboot problem all in a couple of days! My cup runneth over.

Thanks for those who have had suggestions, especially DrDDT and for sub who tried to get some info from Hauppauge and produced the GBRecorder prog.

Iwent there and the link they had for gbrecord fails. Do you know where one can get the gbrecord prog ?
