HI Sub,

Just upgraded to latest version, but this problem is still occurring. See screenshot. As usual, it is a reoccuring program "Extras" which has changed its start time.

I have saved all logs from tonight.. so let me know if you need any.

Cheers.

I've not changed anything, so I'm not surprised its still happening. It will not update the listing times for pending recordings.

To be honest, probably not. I've pretty much got the next release ready now, but I didnt change anything on this front.

There were some minor changes in the last couple of releases that fixed a couple of related things mentioned in this thread (ie, not doing the 'complete EPG reload' if one of the capture sources was using the 'none' epg option, and a situation that would cause season scheduled recording not to be deleted during complete EPG reload), but in general it should still be the same as I mentioned right back on the first page of this thread:

sub Wrote:The complete EPG reload option should do the trick, unless the XMLTV file you're importing has duplicates listed, or the start time has changed in a one-off recording scheduled from the TV Guide.

The only situation that I didnt mention in there that also applies is that the first recording in a season recording also cant be moved, subsequent recordings in a season recording will be automatically updated.

The reason I dont do anything in this specific situation, is I can often not tell if show is actually the same show if the start time has moved. Often the show name/description is the same, so it cant be relied one. Often there will be more than one show with the same name in the same general time as the original recording - this is very common for US listings.

Hi sub,
I found that anything RECORDING_SCHEDULE locks, including “Conflict” recordings will cause the overlap problem when the airtime is changed.
I use PriorityRecordings and DeleteSschedule, so the only time I see the problem is if one of the recordings has a conflict, and then only the conflict has an overlap.
Wish I knew more about sql scripting, because removing conflicts from the RECORDING_SCHEDULE (using UpdateEPG.bat) would fix a major part of it.

I've had this problem come up a few times also just recently - but even without any scheduled recordings of any kind. Hitting the "empty EPG" button in config before updating the EPG (I always do this manually BTW) makes no difference.

Regards
Dave
