Is GBPVR dependant on any hardware being installed and recognized propperly before GB is installed?

IE if I installed GBPVR before installing drivers for my capture device. I can go into the capture source setup and tell it what kind of device I WILL be using etc....THEN install my device drivers does GBPVR have any issues with that?

Curious cause I'm trying to build a VM image of my HTPC but the vid card and hauppagge drivers will obviously be installed when I move the image to my HTPC box. I was able to create an image with GB on it no problems but when I installed that image on the HTPC I had nothing but problems with the capture source. Granted I was screwing around with the Hauppagge drivers but I want to know if it was just the drivers that were messed up or if GB had some part in it due to the way I created the image...

Any thoughts?

So GB is dependant on the cap card being installed before GB is installed? Can this be confirmed please...it makes a VERY big difference to me.

Also seems a little counter intuative as if I bought a PVR 250 after running GB for a while with a 150 I would need to re-install GB after installing the drivers for the 250?

ive just tried it on a laptop with no tuners, it said it couldnt find the drivers for the device Id selected, and asked wether i wanted to continue, so from that i presume you could do it without capture cards installed...I know it works the other way round, several times ive had to take out my tuners. as long as you deselect all the channels in the setup for the tuner youve removed.
