For all of us who use HIP to control GBPVR it would be cool to have sound effects. Not a high priority, but a nicety.

yeah if it was part of the gbpvr core it would be nicer.

and then you could also use sounds like
pluginHelper.Sounds.PlayAlert();
or something whenever a popup/alert is shown, make it all nice and uniform

Only when you can turn them off, I hate sounds.:eek:

I probably wont be doing this. I'm not a fan of system sounds.

Reven, It probably wouldn't take much to get BleepBloop to do what you want. In fact, you could just create the necessary function in BleepBloop and then call it from your plugin at the appropriate time.

yeah i know i could, but it would be nice whenever a popup box from anywhere came up the same "popup" sound was played. and well different sounds for alert etc. that i couldnt do... (unless i rewrote every single plugin i use.......)

i already use the same code for playback in "my messenger" as bleepbloop to get the msn messenger sounds for new message etc.

I was just heading in here to request this since (I think) I read somewhere Bleepblop isn't worked on anymore.

I'd like some sort of built in sound support for GBPVR too. I know some don't like sounds, so being about to select "None" is important. For those of us who like some auditory feedback, I'd love the ability to add "sound packs" or something similiar to the way we can add themes.
