VA not showing all files and directories

In my main DVD directory, I have 3 folders and a 2 movie files. The folders and all the movies in them show in VA, but the 2 files at the top do not show up anymore. I just upgraded to GBPVR 0.97.7 and VA dated 05/18/06.

Is the top directory not supposed to be used for files now?

Also, in the plugin setup for the "Users", in the DVDs directory list, it show nested directories, but when I presses to rescan, the nested directories disappeared.

Thinking about it, is this new Users feature the reason that the top directory doesn't hold files. It would partly make sense since you would not put permissions on the top directory.
