Hi,

I upgraded to 97.7 and I find that my TV Guide seems to be empty. I am using Bleb in the UK.

If I press the "update EPG" in the Capture Sources pane it seems to be updating (cycles through the channels etc) but then nothing appears in the TV Guide. Can anyone help?

P.S. Does anyone know where the EPG is stored so I can see if it is downloading anything?

it should be in an xml file in the gbpvr folder. I can;t remember which one though.

Bleb was a bit flakey a short while back. I (like many others) use alan birtles xmltvgui app instead now. I found the info that it downloads to be more complete and accurate.

If you click the Update EPG button in the config app to reproduce the problem, then zip and attach your logs, I'll take a look.

The zipped log files are attached (I wasn't sure which ones you needed so I included them all).

You logs are full of unable to connect messages. Either the bleb website was down when you tried, or you have a firewall (software or hardware) getting in the way. I suspect the latter.

Thanks, I switched off the Firewall and that fixed it. Strange though, as the previous version worked fine with the Firewall and also the Firewall didn't issue any sort of challenge when the config app tried to connect to Bleb (normally it would I think?).

Unfortunately, I now have another error when I try to set up a recording from the TV Guide I get the following error message...

"no connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it"

One of two things cause that. (1) firewall, or (2) recording service is not running.

Thanks, yes it was the Firewall again (can't think why!).

I have disabled it now and everything seems to be working fine.
