Ok, this error is occurring in the zap2it server for your account. Its unable to process your listings request. You could try removing an recreating your channel lineup at http://labs.zap2it.com to see if it helps. Otherwise, you might need to contact zap2it to ask them about this one.

I should point out that today I went to test my zap2it account and got this same "The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error". This was because my account had expired. Worth double checking.

I finally have things working again. I wrote a note to zap2it, but didn't get a reply, so I deleted my account with them and started up a new one. The former UserID was "in use" (probably that was mine, which hadn't be cleared from their system?) so I used a slight variation which worked OK. Now I have no problem updating the EPG.

I'm having the same problem. No firewall installed, ICF turned off. I can update just fine on my desktop machine upstairs running ZoneAlarm Security Suite, but can't on the HTPC which is wide open.

I've tried using my existing account as well as creating a brand new one. Both have listings shown. Both update fine upstairs, but won't down here. What's the deal?

It does sounds like a firewall somewhere getting in the way.
