Using the software decoder worked, at least the recording. Live TV lead to several times to an sudden end of gbpvr.exe.

However, I would like to watch the films with pvr 350. The picture is brighter, the video playback is better and besides, every time I start playing a recording I have to ajust the volume control of my SB Audigy 2 ZS sound card.

So I think I have to look for a multiplex filter.

In case there is an interest for the sudden ending of the gbpvr, i attach the log files.

I found the cyberlink.mux 5.0.2022.It works with the Hauppauge PVR 350, but the recording is very choppy with this version, as it is already posted in other threads of the forum. The Version 5.0.(0.)1307 seems to be the right one. But no thread gives any hint on how to get this version.

Can anybody help me out ?

I looking for a new dvb-c tv-card and
take a closer look to the Technotrend Premium C-2300.
Will GB-PVR support this card? Google said, there´s no BDA-Driver for this card..

If not, which card should I take?

If the C-2300 premium device doesnt have BDA drivers, then its not going to work with GB-PVR.

The C-1500 should be fine. It has BDA drivers.

Damn, searched so long for a good TV-Card Sad
I have not a realy new PC under bei desk and the C-2300 have a hardwaredecoder onboard....

But without GB-PVR the card is senseless Wink

There are not much cards for DVB-C like S or T:
KNC One TV-Station DVB-C
TechnoTrend Budget C-1501 DVB-C
Cinergy C PCI HD
Twinhan DVB-C
Cinergy C PCI HD transparent

I favor the KNC One card....or will someone favor an another?

Of those, I'd probably go the Twinhan one first, then the TechnoTrend. I have both of these cards, but not the others, which sometimes helps with support issues...

Hehe, follow the leader Wink

Sure, the quality (special of your) of the support would be better but
I have cancel the C-2300 and ordered the KNC One.
This card have a in and out connection, which send the stream through,
so I can connect my reciver on it too without a T-thingbridge (don´t know englisch word) which often result in qualitylost.
And it have PCI audio streaming.
Sad that Technotrend never write a BDA-Driver for the C-2300 Sad

Read some forums...the most favor the C-1501 or the KNC.
The FireDTV may be a option too, but it´s a bit expensive.

In a few day´s I know more Wink
