gb pvr fails to even boot without error

My system is a win2k sp4 box with madc and .net 2.0 installed. After installing gb-pvr i get the following error immediately (when trying to enter into config). This is a copy directly from the log file followed by text copied from a .net runtime error.

I have tried reinstalling all the packaged and the gb-pvr app from scratch.....can you offfer any suggestions??

Also, in my installed programs list, i see a macd 2.53 hotfix update that cannot be uninstalled, i guess that came from windows update but I have no idea if that is the problem.

Do a re-install of GBPVR (.net 2.0 needs to be on the system BEFORE you install GBPVR).

If still a problem zip and attach config.exe.log again

Yes .net 2.0 is installed first as well as the other required package for win2k sp4.

What version of Windows Media Player you got installed?

Ok so this was a fresh win2k install and i did not have a media player installed at all!! Didnt know it was required.....installed version 9 and all is well so far thank you sooooooo much!!!!
