"failed to get colour key value"

I recently did a clean install of .97.9 and am having trouble playing some of my old recordings from 96.12 (which had been converted to WMV and renamed to MPG, outside of GBPVR).

These old recordings will play in Windows Media Player 10, but will crash GBPVR and leave a log message of

If you switch to VMR or use a different video decoder, the problem will most likely go away.
