What am I missing - TV Guide doesn't find searches

I'm running v0.97.7 and I'm using Zap2it for US.

When I search for something like, "Bond" or "007" or "Connery" nothing comes up, even though one of the channels listed (AMC) shows a bunch of Bond movies playing this week.

Is there a plug-in or setting I'm missing?

The built in search screen only searches two ways:

1) "starting character", where you enter the first character of the show title
2) "free text", where it searches for the required text within the show title.

It does not search the description - just the title.

I dont know. I dont use any plugins.

There is an alternative search screen plugin called XSearch or something like that, but I dont know what it exactly does in this respect.

Dave, the Enhanced Web Admin works great for subtitle, description & genre searches.
It’s included with GBPVR, and I bet it will do exactly what you’re looking for.
Enable it in gbpvr config, then create a desktop shortcut to the link below.

Yes, that'll do it, but its not really the same sort of thing though. Most people want something they use on their TV with a remote rather than a web interface.

Jim, thanks, that's a great tool.
I don't yet have the ability to send my recordings over an mvp to another TV, so using this Enhanced Web Admin on the same computer will certainly work. Besides, I see there may be a plug in to get a web browser in GBPVR, so I might even be able to view it on a remote tv sometime in the future.
