Adaptec Videoh PCI card support? Anyone got it to work?

I have the PCI version from Adaptec with the TV tuner and as far as I can tell form other posts ended upwith the same issue where I am not able to view any life tv.

I receive the following error message as soon as I click on the Live TV button :"object reference not set to an instance of object". I have not yet checked the log files, thus I will provide them as soon as I get home.

If anybody got this card working, please let me know the settings in the setup; which codecs you use; which adaptec driver you use and so on.
