been trying to figure out how to get both MCE and GBPVR controlled using one config in HIP, and i found that because HIP takes control of the usb unit, you can't use any other programs to blast with while HIP is active!
i knew that HIP can control the blaster too but it just wouldn't work for me..
turns out there's a little piece missing..you have to tell HIP to blast in response to the method you will use to ask it later on..
meaning you have to add new 'system wide' keys and use hipwsend to send the key you wish it to blast...for each number add a new key..

hope that helps all f you out there wondering why it won't blast...if it works from the 'test ir blaster' button but won't blast in real use,try this..

Quote:Looks like you are missing the last part of the operation. When HIP receives a command, you must tell Hip what to do with it.
In the Alternate Input tab, under System-Wide keys, click on the add value button, and while Hip is waiting for a key, use HipSend to generate a key value for the numbers 0-9 (each separately). Then once that has been received, you can allocate the correct IR command to send at the response of this command. Naturally you will have to teach Hip the IR command if it does not already know it and because the IR senders are pretty weak on this unit, I suggest you get the IR side working before you do this.
