This one is short and sweet. I was using the MCE IR blaster built in support in version 0.97.7 (?) and it worked great with my cable box. When I installed the new version 0.97.13 ti wouldn't change channels correctly. This was with the same set of IR files and nothing moved as far as the physical hardware. It seemed like it was sending the digits a little faster and that was making the cable box miss a digit randomly, often the first or last but sometimes the middle. Made for some interesting recordings.
This is with 3 digit and 0 padding set and I noticed it on the 3 digit channels since that is what I record on the cable box. I switched to the external MCRBlaster.exe program that was posted in another thread, using the same set of IR files, and it works but it sends the digits noticably slower.
Just though you might keep an eye out in that section of the code for a timing issue. Maybe some related code was improved and the effect was to allow the digits to come out faster which is now too fast. Ideally maybe a config entry for interdigit delay in milliseconds, even one not changable via config.exe would be handy, especially if someone has a box that is picky about the speed that the digits arrive.
