I have a ATI HDTV Wonder. I also have a Haupp. 150, if that makes any difference.

I attempted a recording with DVR-MS. and it only produces a 6Kb recording

After I sent you the logs, I looked back at my recordings folder and noticed that there were now 2 files:

Escándalo T.V._20060719_11001400.dvr-ms (6kb) 12:27 PM
Escándalo T.V._20060719_11001400-2.dvr-ms (195,950KB) 12:30 PM

It seems that it starts to create a 6KB file and then 3 minutes later it actually begins recording. If I refresh the page of the recordings folder, I notice that it takes qute a while for the second file to increase on size. Have not timed it yet, but it might be 3 minutes.

May be GBPVR got tired of waiting for data from the HDTV Wonder Driver and it gives up, then later it begins a second recording.

The problem with this is that the Database holds the first name as the file on the recordings table, so If I want to play it back, I need to use "Video Library" and choose the second file.

If its not already, can you try setting <BDASubmitTuningRequestTwiceOnRecord>false</BDASubmitTuningRequestTwiceOnRecord> in config.xml.

Originally I had it set to true when I sent you the original logs.

Now I set it to false, restarted the recording service, restarted GPBVR and tried the recording again.

I waited more than 15 minutes to see if the file changes and I only have a 6KB dvr-ms file.

Thanks.

I don't know if it's going to help, but anyway I noticed a wierd thing:
I'm using 96.12 right now since it works fine with my KWorld ATSC-110 and dvr-ms. I'm able to succesfully record all my shows enen though log files show

VERBOSE locked=0 present=0 strength=0 quality=0

With 97.13 + ATSC patch log files show

VERBOSE locked=1 present=1 strength=78 quality=78

but recordings fail often.
