Hi adrian,

See it's your first post, so first of all, welcome!

Not sure if you are aware of the WIKI Help Pages for GBPVR, but it;s a great place to start. Your particular Q is answered at the bottom of THIS page:

HTH, cheers

I use tvxb to get TV guide and it works perfectly for one tuner now.
Then should I use EPG for the 2nd tuner ?

Thats what you want don't you? Say you had channels 1-5, you record channel 1 with one card then you would want to to watch 3 at the same time then you will need the same channels.

GBPVR needs to know what you want to do with your tuners. Then when you ask it to do something, like record or watch live tv, it looks at what is available and picks an appropriate tuner. It will only pick one tuner for each request so there will not be any conflicts. Each tuner needs and EPG source so you have to set one up for each tuner, but it will only keep one master EPG file and just referance your list of how you set up each tuner.

As herb said, yep. I use tvxb too (I'd hazard a guess you are in Hong Kong?). Just point the config to the same EPG and it will assign the same set of channels to each tuner. Then you watch one, while the other records Alternatively you can set up TWO separate EPG files. This is what I do for my one tuner. One set for Terrestrial Channels pearl/ATV and one set for four NowBB Channels that I watch.

That's means with a dual tuner, if one tuner is recording TV, GBPVR with pick up another available tuner for live tv automatically ? right ?

I believe that is correct unless the LiveTV is showing what is being recorded, as then it might use the SAME tuner.
