if I played part of a video and stopped it, when I went back to it I had a "resume" button just below "play".

then I updated to the latest version of gbpvr.

now it plays about 1 second of the show and then pauses it and puts up a window asking if I want to restart or resume.

the problem is, about half the time, the only way to continue past the window is to press the reset button on the PC, and hope it actually makes it past next time.

it makes it very annoying because I can only watch a show when I am not recording. otherwise, I risk losing the recording due to system locking up.

is there a way to get the "resume" button back on the info screen instead of this window??

btw--I have tried the "prompt for resume" option in config, but it seems to do nothing.

I do have X-record installed (had it before the upgrade too) but I am using the regular recordings menu.

Try setting <UseMenuResumeButton>true</UseMenuResumeButton> in config.xml. Nothing has changed on this front for quite a while. I'm not sure why this setting would have changed for you.
