USB DVB Newbie help!!

I decided to buy myself a usb DVB stick from ebay it has an AF9005 tuner? if this is helpful?
I have installed the software (blaze) then attempted to scan for channels... nothing at all .. doesnt find a sausage.

I have tried different computer (laptop and another pc .. no luck)

I have tried different aerials (both a boosted DTV aerial and a large rooftop antenna which receives DTV signals for our set top box with no probs what so ever)

also prior to buying I borrowed my friends freecom usb stick and this worked A-OK.

so question is.. is this a config issue or have I bought a dud?

please help as this is very frustrating to say the least!

Download this http://www.dayc.vispa.com/files/ScanChan..._EZ166.exe and see if you get channels with it. If not it would point to a faulty card or it doesn't have bda drivers which means it will probably not work with any 3rd party software.

Hi Stuey,

I am a newbie too. Same problem. I have a prosoloo usb stick. Blaze dtv software shows a signal but picks up no channels. Were you able to sort out your problem? Kindly help!!!! Thanks.
