transcode not stopping

also now the file size doesn't update when transcoding,it only updates when moving button focus from stop to exit...leave it on a button and no update..
move it over and it updates..
wonder if this is related...never did that before either..

ZProcess, when called (pretending to be ffmpeg), immediately starts creating a file with the same name that GB-PVR expects to be created. Therefore GB-PVR displays that files size growing...

Is your Show burner creating a different file in prepartion for DVD burning or something?

This was definitely something I fixed after this last release which included the new Video Library rewrite, and will be working in the next release.

I'm looking forward to that.

the only problem i have is when ffmpeg is over and exits, the dialog doesn't seem to know...and that is with the REAL ffmpeg also!

Sub, try starting a conversion, then forcably kill ffmpeg,[or just let it finish]
the dialog stays there...and you can't even 'stop' it then..
i can 'stop' before it finishes and everything's fine..
but if ffmpeg ends and you haven't hit 'stop', it never goes away..

so seems like it's a prob for everyone..
just thought you might want to know..

Sorry, but all I can suggest is waiting until the next release. My version has moved on too far, so I'm unable to make patches to v0.97.13 even if I wanted to. Its working in my version, so I'm fairly sure I must have fixed it after the v0.97.13 release.

cool....i'd be glad to test it if possible..but if it works on your end..
as long as when ffmpeg quits it exits and the dialog progress works we're in bussiness...

@Zehd: it's amazing how similar our programs are... down to the spawning..
i spawn one prog out of the original executable,that then spawns another to delete itself with after it's killed ffmpeg..
[batch files can delete themselves while running]
after that tho,it's totally different...
and there i thought i was clever or something...lol
