how to add videos to the Xrecord ready folder?

is there a way to add videos to the ready folder in Xrecord and have them show up in the list of videos? I have some videos I'd like to add to the ready section but when I move them on the Hard drive into the recordings folder they won't show up in the ready section of Xrecord.....??

you can set one of the "video path" folders to point to where you have your videos.
then check "merge video/ready"

btw-
to do this, you open config, go to the plugins tab, click on xrecord, click on settings.
