Question about different PVR softwares

Thanks for the quick response, I really do appreciate it. I already have .net 2.0. I'll be installing the latest Directx and all the other Windows XP updates tonight. I'll also be installing one of those DVD software. Should I also install Windows Defender and an Antivirus Program or will this slow up the system?

I have a dedicated box and just run AVG for antivirus - no other security apps, I am behind a router/firewall though...

Yep, I'm also behind a firewall, which makes WinXP built-in firewall useless. I'll install AVG on mine as well, simply because I've been using it for a while on my home pc and its very good at detecting viruses.
As far as music files go, which program does GB-PVR use to play them?
