Weather plug in will not update.

I am having the same problem. My map hasn't updated since Aug 23 (Wed) but the forecast is fine. Here is the log:

I see this line in the log that may be it:
8/25/2006 7:15:19 PM.625 VERBOSE [18] No more space to download animated map for 80501

There is also some more about weather errors in there.

I'm having a small problem in regards to the weather plugin as well. If I try to add a location from within the weather it gives me an error message that reads.

could not find path Crogram Files/devnz/gbpvr/advisor/resources/popup_sep.png

The advisor skin is looking for a file called popup_sep.png that does not exist. One fix would be to go into the Crogram Files/devnz/gbpvr/advisor/weather/skin.xml file and search for the line that references this resource and dcomment it out or delete it.

I just setup a new machine with gbpvr v .97.13 with the advisor skin and a few other plug-ins and all is working with the exception of the Weather Plugin... When I go into the config app I do not even see it listed as an option in the plugins. The install finishes successfully... Any ideas? I am running Windows XP SP2 with all of the latest updates current to 8/28/2006 and both versions of .NET framework with all of the latest updates.

If you don't see it listed in the config app, look in your confiog.exe.log file and see what errors are listed.

You have a very old version of the commongbpvrutilities.dll file. Sometimes the install fails if the old dll is in use. If you shut down gbpvr, the gbpvr recording service, and any gbpvr task bar items (e.g. GBPVR Tray) and then reinstall the plug-in it should install the correct version. I don;t recall the excat number, but it is 3.X.

Thanks Jeff! I had to stop all GBPVR processes / services, rename the old CommonGBPVRUtilities file, uninstall weather plugin and re-install the weather pluin and all was well again. I tried just stopping all GBPVR processes / services and re-installing the weather plugin, but it would not replace the library file. Anyway, it is all working now! Thanks for the help!
