Video is Playing Back using TV Out

OK, just installed for the first time. Know I'm doing something silly here but can't figure it. When I click Live TV, I get a black screen with white text that says "Video is playing back using TV out. Press 'Home' to return to the menu."

But I don't see any live TV. Don't know how to see live tv. What am I missing? I also tried recording a show and then tried to watch the show - same message. Seems like Playback routing is not set up correctly.

I'm using the WinTV PVR 350 and went through the Config detailed step by step.

Hmm, does GB-PVR not support playback on the computer? Only playback via the TV out? Is there a way to just view it on the computer the same as I can with WinTV?

This is because you've told it to use the PVR350 hardware decoder. This decoder is hardwired to the tv out connector on the PVR350.

If you set the hardware decoder setting to 'none - use software decoding', then it'll appear on your computer as you expect.
