I have a Theater 550 card that works great with gb-pvr. however, I am having problems when I try to enable timeshifting. I can watch live tv, but when I attempt to go into time-shifting mode by hitting pause, I get the message that it is switching to time-shifting mode and pauses the screen. When I hit play it just goes back to the main menu with all the options such as Live TV, Recordings, etc...... Any ideas what's happen here.

I did go to the GB-PVR Main program folder and noticed I have no Live-tv buffer folder, do I need to create a folder or anything for it?

My configuration:
GB-PVR: Version 1.0.8
CPU: AMD Athlon 2800+ Barton
RAM: 1 Gig Kingston (DDR)
Video Card: Geforce FX 5200 (128 DDR)
TV Tuner: SAPPHIRE Theater 550 PRO
HD: Two Maxtor 80 Gig (7200 RPM)

Yes, you have to create a folder and point within the config.exe to this folder, otherwise Timeshift won't work.

post this in the support forum including all the text logs in gbpvr folder . More visitors there might help answer your question faster.

Thank you guys for your help........

I created a folder and pointed the live Buffer to it. TimeShifting works fine now.
Thanks again.
