I'm using a Hauppage 350 and am not getting any sound when watching Live TV (haven't tried a recording yet). I tried both TV audio and the onboard VIA sound. I can listen to MP3's within GBPVR but the sound does not come thru the TV it comes thru the onboard VIA sound card

I also can't seem to watch DVDs, I do have the box checked under the DVD tab in config

Have you tried holding down the right key while watching TV or video?

This is normal. The PVR350's TV out (and associated audio connectors) can only be used to play MPEG1 and MPEG2, not other types of files like .MP3 or .AVI etc. That said, for most people use a loop back cable from the TV out's audio connectors to the soundcard (or on-board) line-in, then go from the line-out to the TV. This way tv/video and music all have the audio coming out of the same connector.

This is also normal. The PVR350's TV out cannot be used to watch DVDs, so this feature is disabled.

Do you mean the right arrow key? Yes. I've also tried using the volume control on my Hauppage Remote which doesn't do anything
Or do you mean the "correct" key, if so what is the "right" key

I have the TV-Out Red/White connectors plugged into a cable with the corresponding Red/White connectors on one end running into the sound card's line-in (blue) connector.
