Hi,

just got myself a PVR150 and I am unable to get the driver to install.
It comes back with the 'The data is invalid; error.
I have tried the registry permission adjustments and deleting 'non-current' hardware in the device listing but to no avail.
I have also tried various drivers, again to no avail.

Anyone got any ideas?
I am running Win XP on an AMD3000+ on an NF7 mb with an XFX FX5700LE.

I've not heard of this problem installing the drivers before, so there may not be anyone here that knows the solution.

It might be worth also asking over at http://www.shspvr.com/smf

Hi,
this seems to be a known problem in XP/2000 and is not unique to Hauppauge.
However all the workarounds I can find don't work!
Including the one on the Hauppage website.

Maybe someone else has another way to solve it?

thanks for the answer.

Dave
