When the next show comes on, are the clients supposed to exit back to the main menu?

While watching live TV on a client, it will go back to the main menu when it seems the next show is starting/the new timeshifted file is created. I grabbed a couple snippets from the client and server logs around the time the issue happened.

Code:

Maybe it's an issue with the wireless network... I just had the client lock up. Attached are the log files from the client and server. Thanks.

When I select a show to watch through the tv-guide it will stop at the end of the show. I'm trying now what happens when I select Livetv. But that could take a while because no shows in the EPG are ending soon. My guess would be however that this should work (= client not stopping at end of show). The difference is that you select a show to watch or a channel to watch.

Yes, it should work, but might be a bug. I'll check today.

I already had forgotten about it, but I tried now: started livetv (from the menu, not from the guide) and it just went nicely past the end of the show to the next show, no problem.

Just an update, regardless if I choose "Live TV" or access live TV thru the
"TV Guide", the client will exit back to the main menu when that show is over. Actually this might not be a bad thing as it'll keep me and my wife from letting the client run on and on even if no one is watching.

One quick question, when restarting the recording service on the client (like when I exit out of Config, it says it is restarting the service), this doesn't affect the server, correct?

I have the same question as Fuzzweed.
Curious if anyone has figured a way to resolve this issue?

The next release fixes a bug that can cause this.
