If you're recording with the PVR150 (or PVR500), then you could have the well known PVR150 timestamp bug.

I have an ATI 550 pro. The problem started when i switched from cyberlink to intervideo to stop the freezing problem I was having. I switched to dscaler5 once the problem began and it continued. I've used dscaler5 before without a problem. Could the installation of intervideo or the intervideo registry patch have caused the problem?

I reinstalled GBPVR completely and the problem persists. It's playing at 3x speeds.

You probably want to try to work out if its a recording problem or a playback problem. ie, does the recording playback fine in some other player?

If its a playback problem, its likely related to the combination of decoders you're using and/or the audio renderer.

I figured it out. It works fine until I apply the intervideo registry patch. What about this patch could be causing the problem?
