Hi all,
Worst of many disastwers to strike recently is the failure of my Shuttle pc currently running as HTPC (dvd and media player no PVR). Could not come at a worse time (1/2 way through Fascape complete collection) and so have no time to sit down and spec out a new sys.
So I would like some help pls, have CPU amd X64 3000+, mem DDR, USB wireless ,HDD and DVD.
What I need is a new case and MB that will be able to use socket 939CPU and be quite quiet, as well as Svid and optical audio output (to AV switch). Additonally with the restrictions of HDCP to PCIe only it would be nice to have this as an option to upgrade to when I finaly get a HDTV. Also have been rather cramped for expansion TV tuners etc in my current Shuttle would be nice to be able to fit in 2-3 cards + GFX.
Size requirements are not a problem my AV switch is full size seperate component so somthing that has the width of this height I have a decent ammount to deal with (a good 10 inches), would like to place the unit under the switch.
Lastly the less cash the better around £200...., Have just spent a load on a new CPU for my main computer and have to budget for new graphics card
and later Vista :mad: (though the wife has said she will put some of her savings into it 
).
Suggestions greatfully recived if nothing turns up then I may fall back on a new shuttle (SN25P) and scavange my current 6600GT(heatpipe) GFX from my main PC.
