Is Hauppauge WinTV-HRV-3000 supported?

Hi,

Is Hauppauge WinTV-HRV-3000 by gbpvr supported?
I didn't find it in the Device Type List. Is there a different Device Type that I can use, assuming that I'm only capturing Cable TV Channels? No Sat connected.

There is no hardware MPEG2 encoder on the analog side of this device, so this specific aspect of the device does not work.

You can use the DVB-T and DVB-S side of the device by adding the following in BDA.ini:

That's bad cause all my channels are provided analog by cable. I have no SAT Antenna.

- Is there any workaround for the fact that there is no hardware encoder attached to the analog side of HRV-3000?
- Will future versions of gbpbr be solving my issue?
- What is the second best software (after gbpvr) that is working with HRV-3000?

Sorry, there is no work around at this stage. Maybe in a future release, but I couldnt tell you when that might be.

I dont know what other software works with this device.
