Now, i did a search on this first, and did find others with the same problem, i tryed their solutions, but alas they did not work, and none of their situation where like mine, so i decided that making a new theard for it would be best. Basicly, whats happening is that when i try and press the "watch live tv" button it goes to the "entering time shit mode, please wait screen" and sits there for a while. I get audio after a little bit, but it stays stuck on that screen until finnaly it shows an error message that says "error cannot play back file". Now, it can still record shows just fine, it cannot watch them though, and if i go to "recorder test" in the gbpvr folder and test it out, it i can watch tv from there just fine. I am not running a client nor a server, this is on a one machine deal. When i try and play it from the test it gives me the error message logs found below. I am running a Wintv 401 (which used to be known as wintv GO radio edition) with the software encoderm a 2.1 ghz celron proccessor, onboard video card, and 512 ram. thanks for the help.

Sorry, I cant provide support for unsupported cards using the Software Encoder plugin. Your best bet is to post your question in the Software Recorder plugin thread, and hope that one of the other users with this card has solved the same problem in the past.

I'd really recommend you update to a supported card like a PVR150 or ATI 550 Pro. It'd make things much easier.
