I'm getting the following error in the log when the channel is changed for a recording.
USBUIRTHelper::SendKey failed. Handle is invalid.

This occurs with each scheduled recording or a "quick record" from the tv guide.
I can however select a channel from the guide to "watch" and it will tune in appropriately. Now I'm forced to make sure the channel is set properly prior to any recordings, then everything works fine.

My configuration is as follows
Win XP
GBPVR v0.98.13
Dish Network
USBUIRT v1.4

It was working fine in the past and then after some sata full hard drive system freezes and some offspring induced hard reboots things started getting a bit strange. I removed GBPVR, moved the old directory and reinstalled. Updated the usbuirt drivers and the .net framework.

Any help or info on what to try next would be great.

*bump*
Are there any other threads or wiki pages which describe the non-gbpvr integrated method of sending commands for recordings. I'll try anything now.
Also, I went through the learning of the dish network report for usbuirt.

thanks guys for all your work

Sorry, I dont really know. I cant see any obvious error in your logs. I cant even see the error message you mention above.

Lines 2-5 of the file GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log have the error.

Thanks for checking into this.

Ok, I can see the error message now.

Does it do this every time? If you restart the recording service, does it come right?

If you set the remote type to something other than 'USB-UIRT', does the blaster side of it start working?

Yes, well it was doing it no matter what I did.
So for one last time I updated the usbuirt drivers, and rebooted.
Now it works. :o

Thanks for your time, if it happens again, I'll try to capture a reproducible sequence.
