help needed with advanced use of HIP and My Programs

Hi,
I have HIP configured to work with GBPVR to augment the missing keys from the MCE remote. I have added sich nicetys as the "PC" button on the remote closes GBPVR and returns me to the Desktop and the "TV" button starts up GBPVR, which is all good.

I now have multiple emulators set up in the my-programs plugin and would like to send an ESC to the running game as a keyboard command to force it to quit back to GBPVR which launched the game.

How do I tell Hip to just send ESC as a keyboard command and NOT associate it with a program?

I am sure someone has managd to achive this but couldnt find it after hours of searching the forum (going off on a tangent many times )

You can the nircmd commandline tool .bat file to kill programm or process.

havnt got hip on the pc im on but from memory if you go to file/configuration and theres a tab called 'system-wide keys' which you can add the ESC key to.

if you dont have the esc key defined in the profile you are currently using, HIP then sorts through the system-wide keys to try and find a rule for what it should do when you press esc. should do what you want...
