Hi
on 2 of my cable channels I have occasional problem that recording is fine video but NO SOUND.
Before I used channel numbers I now tried entering frequencies - but same problem occurs anyway.
tuning assistant gives frequency 189312500 for and I have tried that and also different frequencies nearby - at present 189450000. trial and error - to get a good recording.
But then sometimes sound just disappears - and only on these 2 channels.
I have not understood how to see if there is always recording with a specific card (I have 2 PVR 150 cards) that fails.
Is there a way to see which card actually did the recording?
Is there anyone who knows a solution for my problem?
Do I need to find a better frequency - and how would the best way to find that be?
I live in Sweden and it is channels TV3 and TV4 in case someone has had the same problem
it is also a little bit strange also that cable company says channel 7, WinTV200 uses channel 7, but GBPVR tuning assistant says channel 22 - but this difference works for other channels.
And yes I have got an old version of GBPVR v0.95.16 - but it works normally very fine with high Wife factor (which goes down quite a bit when no sounds on the series ) - and I guess it is not the version since no sound problem only occurs on 2 channels.
I did have almost 1GB gbpvr.mdb fil - just compressed down to 3MB - if that makes any difference in this case? - but why only one on 2 channels then?
Any ideas?
