My Videos replacement

Reven has stopped developing My Videos. I am looking for a replacement, I use My Videos a lot and want something similar, or better, in functionality. Any suggestions?

For the average newbie it would be good if plugins that are no longer maintained, were marked as such on the WIKI.
If I was more knowledgeable on GBPVR, I would volunteer to do this.

Is that the same way they look on the DVDs that you have ripped and converted to AVIs, or is that the way you want them to look when they are done. I am wondering what the "raw" format of the file name is.

I rip my dvds with dvd decryptor. The file names it spits out by default are
VTS_01_0.IFO and VTS_01_PGC_01_01.vob and so on. So instead of letting it choose the name I rename the output file manually. So that being the case and to answer your question this is the way I want them to look.

I insert the file Stargate SG1 - 101 - Children of the Gods.IFO into Auto Gordian Knot to convert them into
Stargate SG1 - 101 - Children of the Gods.avi In some of the stuff I've already compiled the filename doesn't say .avi at the end of the readable filename, I could easily rename those if need be. It's a time consuming process but the results are very much worth it. I could pack 19 episodes at 45 min per episode onto 1 single layer dvd at a very reasonable quality level.

I plan on having at least 20 complete TV shows on my hard drive in about a year from now. So far I've had the time to compile 3.

I'm still not sure I understand how the files come off the DVD. I use the DV2MPG plug-in to convert DVDs or the Multi-episode DVD2MPEG.exe utility. Maybe I'll have to pick up a DVD of TV episodes to see what happens so that I can figure it out.

Now I see what your saying. I've never used Video Archive for ripping dvds before. I will give it a good wack and see what comes out.
